Job Opportunity: Radiology Technologist

Decypher is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to support our contract in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine diagnostic radiological procedures and services as appropriate to the task order.
  • Adhere to radiation safety policies and procedures in accordance with Radiology Department guidelines.
  • Send image series to radiologists for reading according to Military Treatment Facility protocol.
  • Correctly position patients for examinations and make technical adjustments as needed.
  • Process digital images and submit them for interpretation by radiologists.
  • Document procedures and maintain records in accordance with MTF policy.
  • Perform system calibrations and quality control tasks as directed.
  • Recognize artifacts and equipment errors and notify designated personnel.
  • Initiate repair procedures for equipment malfunctions.
  • Observe and report symptoms related to patient conditions.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an academic program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in the specialty identified in the task order.
  • One year of experience within the last two years as a radiologic technologist or in the radiologic technologist specialty area.
