Job Summary:
Franchise World Headquarters, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Franchise Counsel to manage all aspects of litigation, arbitration, and transactional matters within the assigned region in North America. The ideal candidate will provide solution-focused counsel, risk assessment, and strategy to stakeholders of Subway business teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of litigation, arbitration, and settlements for franchising matters in the region, including franchisee FA compliance, franchisee bankruptcy, franchisee evictions, and more.
Engage and oversee outside counsel as needed.
Manage legal support for transactional matters within the region, including Business Developers, multi-unit owners, and large non-traditional entity franchisees.
Draft and negotiate associated contracts and transactions, obtaining review and advice from outside counsel as needed.
Provide risk assessment and counsel on threatened/pending litigation, transactional matters, and special projects.

Requirements:
Juris Doctorate required.
At least 5 years overall experience required with 1 year's management experience.
Admitted to practice law in the State of CT or the ability to waive in.
Strong advocacy and negotiation skills with a focus on litigation and arbitration, and transactional matters.
Effective analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work independently managing a large case load across various practice areas.
Ability to provide sound legal advice to stakeholders promptly that balances legal and business objectives.
