This role includes up to 5x12-hour Day Shifts and 3x12-hour Night Shifts for coverage. Joining this team is a strategic decision to align with future coverage opportunities based on your preferences. The compensation package includes covered expenses, competitive rates, and comprehensive support for locum roles.

Key Features of the Opportunity:

  • Start Date: Upon credentialing completion
  • Contract Duration: 13-26 Weeks, with extension options
  • Shift Structure: 12-hour shifts, available for days or nights
  • Day Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM, with weekend call rotation
  • Night Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6 PM to 6 AM, optional weekend call rotation
  • Work Environment:
    • Support Staff: CRNA present for every case; the physician primarily supervises
    • Patient Volume: Approximately 1000 cases monthly; 5 Anesthesiologists on duty daily
    • Patient Demographics: Adult and some pediatric cases
    • Electronic Medical Records: Cerner
    • Facility Size: 300+ beds; Level II Trauma Center
    • Required Skills: Level II experience preferred; supervising CRNAs and managing diverse cases
  • Practice Environment: Hospital Level II Trauma

Qualifications:

  • Board Certification: Required
  • State License: Not necessary (Willing to License)
  • DEA Registration: Required
  • CSR: Not required
  • Necessary Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS
  • Preferred Experience: Minimum of 2 years

Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60 Days
