About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Support Professional or Caregiver to join our team at Alternatives, Inc. As a member of our residential group home staff, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities in achieving their goals and increasing their independence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to clients with daily living activities
  • Assist with medication management and health-related care
  • Facilitate community outings and recreational activities to promote client engagement and socialization
  • Develop and implement individualized behavioral plans to promote client independence and growth

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Able to pass background checks and a drug screen
  • Clear tuberculosis screening
  • Able to pass required trainings such as CPR/first aid and medication administration
