About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Dishwasher at Great Western Dining. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Washing and Sanitizing: Ensure the availability of clean dishes, pots, pans, and flatware by washing and sanitizing them in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Pre-Shift Preparation: Prepare dining areas and kitchen for the next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
  • Delivery and Storage: Unload and store deliveries in a timely and organized manner.
  • Floor Care: Sweep and mop floors, especially in the event of broken or spilled items.
  • Trash and Recycling: Take out the trash and rinse garbage cans.
  • Team Support: Support other staff members by assisting with other tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimal Work Experience: No prior experience is required, but a willingness to learn and grow with our team is essential.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Strong problem-solving and communication skills are necessary to effectively work with our team and management.
  • Time Management: Exceptional time management skills are required to meet the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 25 pounds.
  • Food Safety: Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures and protocols.
Compensation

The salary for this position is $13 per hour.
