Diagnostic Echocardiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Echocardiographer to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a Diagnostic Echocardiographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality echocardiogram services to patients in their homes or at various service locations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform echocardiogram studies using portable ultrasonic equipment with cardiac capabilities
- Process images and review for proper identification and quality control
- Upload required documents into company systems according to protocols
- Maintain equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting, according to company procedures
- Ensure the vehicle is well-stocked with necessary supplies prior to each shift
- Operate and behave in full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations
- Orient new staff and train students, if requested
- Assist with order taking, validation of studies, communication with reading cardiologists, customer call-backs, and other administrative and customer support functions as directed
- Adult Cardiac Sonographer with a satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program, with a focus in adult echocardiography and/or vascular ultrasound studies
- ARDMS registered in adult echocardiography with RDCS (AE) designation or CCI registered with Cardiac Sonographer designation required
- Two (2) years' experience as a cardiac sonographer or vascular tech preferred
- Ability to perform quality and compete echocardiogram studies and possess excellent organizational skills to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends
