Radiology Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to join our team at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK.
As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for providing high-quality radiologic images to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems. You will prepare and position patients for imaging, select exposure factors accurately, and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting. A High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience or an Associate's degree/Technical degree is required.
Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Select exposure factors accurately to produce high-quality radiologic images.
- Administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice.
- Monitor patient activity during procedures and report any abnormalities.
- Familiarize yourself with radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on location and experience.
