About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society in Howard, SD. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and making a meaningful difference in their lives.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
  • Provide comprehensive care to residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and provide education to residents and families.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
  • Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
