We are currently seeking skilled Fleet Maintenance Technicians/Mechanics at the C (Lube/oil techs) level to support the upkeep of our extensive fleet. This role involves servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and performing general maintenance on our transit vehicles.

Available Work Schedules:
  • Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Tuesday to Saturday from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct maintenance, service, diagnostics, and repairs on transit vehicles.
  • Areas of focus include automotive/light-duty vehicles, powertrains, undercarriage/chassis, electronic systems, air conditioning, heating systems, wheelchair lifts, and vehicle accessories.
  • Document repair activities in the electronic fleet maintenance management system.
  • Perform preventive maintenance as required.
  • Collaborate with the Fleet Maintenance Manager and General Manager.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of automotive/truck experience or completion of automotive courses for entry-level positions.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • AC609 Certification or willingness to obtain is necessary.
  • Experience with hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment related to automotive repair.
  • Possession of necessary hand tools or willingness to acquire them.
  • Willingness to train and take ASE A series tests as required.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
  • Must pass an annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check.
Working Environment:
  • Work may be conducted outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • This position operates within a professional shop environment.
  • May require working various days and shifts based on operational needs.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to drive a motor vehicle and pass a DOT Physical.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and comprehend instructions.
  • Frequent use of standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
  • Able to bend, stoop, crawl, and reach overhead.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Compensation: $26.00 to $33.00 per hour.
