Job Summary

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team at a correctional facility in Stockton, California. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide essential services to patients, including assessments, clinical interventions, and counseling.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments and provide evidence-based clinical interventions, including counseling and therapy, to patients with diverse needs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, ensuring seamless coordination of patient care.
  • Transitional Care Planning: Assist patients in transitioning to community resources upon release, promoting continuity of care and reducing recidivism rates.
  • Cognitive Behavior Therapy: Administer CBT to individuals with Substance Use Disorders, both individually and in groups, to modify behaviors and promote positive change.
  • Education and Counseling: Provide education and counseling to patients on life skills and Substance Use Disorder-related issues, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, ensuring timely completion of necessary documentation and reporting.
Requirements
  • California MFT License: Possess a valid and active California Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
  • Experience and Certifications: Have at least 12 consecutive months of performing similar services within the last 3 years and hold the required certificates relevant to the assigned specialized area.
