Job Summary

Viega GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a key member of our distribution center, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine daily work schedule via work board instructions and upon receiving direction from Lead Team Member and Supervisor.
  • Unload shipments from trucks utilizing forklift or pallet jack; read labels to determine designated storage or staging location; combine and separate shipments into individual pallets based on product and/or ship ID numbers; confirm order quantities with packing lists; input information into SAP utilizing Viad@t.
  • Utilize a forklift or reach truck to transport pallets from receiving and production areas to designated storage and staging locations.
  • Identify products and containers for replenishment; scan containers and transport pallets, utilizing a forklift or reach truck, to designated storage location.
  • Pick inventory and place in containers; transport to packing lanes; verify quantity matches with scanner instructions; move product into final shipping container; label container to create final shipping unit; confirm into SAP utilizing Viad@t; transport to designated shipping area; ensure orders are accurate and efficient, according to company's established guidelines and standards.
  • Perform 5S activities to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist and answer questions of DC Team Member I and II as necessary.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 6-17 months of related experience.
  • Warehouse Management Systems experience preferred.
  • Lean experience preferred.
