We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team at Swedish Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare for each procedure and/or surgery by ensuring there is adequate stock, and appropriate equipment available in areas as assigned.
- Assist with post-procedure workload, including cleaning the room between procedures, putting away unused supplies, and setting up for the next procedure.
- Teach, supervise, and serve as a resource person and delegate in accordance with the competency level of all staff members.
- Rotate to areas other than the OR, and perform only those duties that you have demonstrated competency.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure.
- Current BLS Certification through AHA or ARC.
- Graduate of a certified School of Nursing.
- OR nursing experience required.
