We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Specialist. This is a 13-week contract opportunity with a competitive pay rate of $68/hour.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment, prioritizing the needs of critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic procedures, and intervene as necessary to maintain patient stability.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure informed decision-making and promote a positive patient experience.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and safety.
- Current RN licensure and ACLS-AHA certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an ICU setting, with a focus on cardiovascular care.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
