Join Our Team as an Associate Immigration Attorney

We're seeking a dedicated and passionate Associate Immigration Attorney to join our team at The Matian Firm, APC. As a key member of our Immigration Team, you will play a vital role in protecting our clients' rights and advancing their immigration goals.

Responsibilities
  • Represent Clients in Immigration Proceedings: You will represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals.
  • Manage Caseload and Client Interaction: You will be responsible for managing your caseload, interacting with clients, and collaborating with our Immigration Team.
  • Prepare Immigration Applications: You will prepare diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions.
  • Conduct Intakes and Present Strategic Solutions: You will conduct intakes with detained individuals at centers and present strategic solutions to clients.
  • Review and Prepare Legal Briefs: You will review immigration applications/packets, make necessary adjustments, and prepare legal briefs for various immigration cases.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Immigration Law: You must have at least 1 to 4 years of experience in immigration law.
  • Team Player: You should be a team player who is open to helping, strategizing, and working with fellow associates.
  • Language Skills: Preferably bilingual (English/Spanish) with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Case Management: You should have a record of moving legal cases forward and an ability to manage a caseload.
  • Software Experience: Experience with Case Management Software is preferred.
