Position Overview:
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. ("SEL") is in search of skilled, innovative, and meticulous professionals for the role of Automation Integration Specialist. This position is ideal for those eager to collaborate with industry leaders while contributing to the development of state-of-the-art products.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Automation Integration Specialist, you will be tasked with cultivating, sustaining, and deploying a comprehensive understanding of electric power system engineering integration, automation, and industrial control systems. This includes proficiency in relevant protocols, serial and network communications, security measures, and logic programming.

Your responsibilities will encompass:
(1) defining, developing, implementing, and analyzing specifications for power system products, functional testing, and validation processes to guarantee seamless system integration; (2) diagnosing issues reported by customers related to integration and communication features, and documenting these for the development team; (3) conducting technical and market analyses to assess proposed products or enhancements; (4) evaluating and testing competing products in the realm of power system integration and automation; (5) providing engineering support for the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical power engineering automation and control systems; (6) drafting and maintaining comprehensive product documentation, including application guides, data sheets, and user manuals; and (7) adhering to, measuring, and enhancing the company's engineering and research and development processes.

Compensation:
$85,000.00 - $91,000.00 annually
