Job Overview

New Wave Security Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a high visibility presence, preventing illegal or inappropriate actions, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol assigned buildings, facilities, and perimeters on foot or by a patrol vehicle.
  • Monitor alarm systems and video surveillance systems when an assigned site is permitted.
  • Investigate and respond to suspicious activities and disturbances.
  • Lock buildings, businesses, and other designated areas per client needs.
  • Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
  • Ensure the Security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises.
Requirements
  • Must be proficient in de-escalating techniques, self-defense tactics, verbal judo, etc.
  • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
  • Able to coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies during emergencies.
  • Pass a background check and drug screen.
  • The ability to stand for long periods, work in any weather, and sit, bend, and lift to 40 pounds, if not more, depends on the situation.
