Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rebar Fabricator to join our team at Nucor Steel Auburn. As a Rebar Fabricator, you will be responsible for bending, cutting, and assembling reinforcing steel bars to meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bend and cut reinforcing steel bars to specific lengths and shapes using various machines and tools.
  • Assemble and load orders onto trailers for shipping.
  • Operate overhead cranes to move and select material for fabrication or shipping.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist other employees in various tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be physically able to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work overtime and any shift as required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Working Conditions

The working conditions for this position can be noisy, dusty, hot, and cold. This is a safety-sensitive position, and the selected candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
