Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA

Genesis Healthcare is a leading provider of post-acute care services, with a strong commitment to employee growth and development. We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA to join our team in Cedar Grove.

About the Role:

The Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA will work alongside a Licensed/Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care. This includes assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring patient safety and well-being, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with ADLs, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
  • Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to the development of individualized care plans
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a state-approved CNA program and current certification
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
