We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dishwashing Supervisor to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our dishroom, as well as providing support to our cooks and kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and assist Stewards in maintaining a clean and efficient dishroom environment.
- Ensure water temperature and chemical levels are appropriate for cleaning and documented.
- Assist with Banquet plate-ups and provide support to cooks and kitchen staff as needed.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor.
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $29.02 to $32.25, as well as a range of benefits including health care benefits, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, earned paid time off and/or sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and other life and work wellness benefits.
