Job SummaryThe Nursing Assistant Trainee is an entry-level position that requires a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a trainee, you will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse and participate in a comprehensive training program that covers the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional care to our residents.
Responsibilities- Assist with basic health care needs and activities of daily living, such as bathing, toileting, and grooming
- Provide psychosocial support and deliver personal care as assigned
- Assist with meal preparation and serving, as well as providing water and nutritional supplements as needed
- Participate in a comprehensive training program that covers the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional care to our residents
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents are met
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Minimum age of 16
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
