Masters Prep Academy- Dc Llc is currently recruiting for an Academic Tutor - Science position. As a key member of our instructional team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in science-related subjects to students of various age groups and skill levels.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field from an accredited institution, with a strong background in teaching or tutoring. A Master's degree is highly desirable, but not mandatory. You will need to demonstrate 2 years of experience in a similar role, showcasing your ability to engage students and promote learning.

Our salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Shifts may include Monday to Friday, 3pm to 8pm, and Saturday, 9am to 5pm.

In addition to academic credentials, we seek candidates who excel in communication, teamwork, and time management. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel, is also essential.

You will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress through regular evaluations, and providing constructive feedback. Regular communication with our staff on student progress is also vital. Furthermore, you will assist students in preparing for their AP Exams and participate in science competitions as needed.

Qualifications
