Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist

Nurse First is seeking a skilled Travel MRI Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Huntington, West Virginia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably in a diagnostic imaging setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
