Position Overview:
This is a Per Diem role for the night shift, specifically from 7 PM to 7 AM. The Nursing Supervisor will play a pivotal role in overseeing the nursing staff across all shifts within the designated units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan, coordinate, and manage all nursing personnel to ensure optimal patient care.
- Conduct ongoing evaluations of staff performance and activities to maintain high standards of care for residents/patients.
- Ensure seamless continuity of care between shifts by providing direct nursing services and supervising the care delivered by CNAs, LPNs, and other support staff.
- Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, departmental personnel, and medical providers to guarantee quality care for each resident/patient.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State RN License in good standing.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory nursing role.
