Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our dedicated team at Prolocums. This role involves providing anesthesia care for both pediatric and adult patients, ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort.
Coverage Type:
Scheduled Clinic Hours with On-Call responsibilities.
Patient Demographics:
The physician will manage a diverse caseload, with approximately 50% of cases involving pediatric patients and 50% involving adults.
Support Team:
You will be supported by a team of professionals including anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and anesthesia technicians, fostering a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administering Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) and General Anesthesia.
- Performing both emergent and elective procedures.
- Conducting intubations, IV placements, and A-Line placements.
- Managing airways during critical situations.
Equipment Utilized:
Familiarity with Draeger Apollo Anesthesia Machines and Omnicell Medication Dispensing systems is essential.
Facility Information:
The hospital is equipped with 26 beds, providing a supportive environment for patient care.
Certification Requirements:
Candidates must hold Board Eligibility (BE) certification.
EMR System:
Experience with Cerner is preferred, enhancing efficiency in patient management.
