Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Front Desk Agent to join our team at InnVite Hospitality. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay with us.

About the Role:

  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to all guests upon arrival, addressing them by name and offering assistance as needed
  • Assist with guest check-in and check-out processes, including assigning rooms, processing payments, and handling guest folios
  • Manage room inventory and participate in revenue management initiatives to maximize occupancy and revenue
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Perform night audit procedures to ensure accurate accounting and reporting

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset
  • 2+ years of experience in a front desk or guest service role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
  • Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and other hotel software
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation:

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
