Job Summary:
Genesis Global Group is seeking a skilled MRI technician to provide high-quality images to physicians. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be sensitive to the needs of patients.

MRI Technician Responsibilities:
• Explain the MRI procedure to patients in a clear and concise manner.
• Ensure all safety questions are asked and consent forms signed before scanning.
• Start IVs for the MRI process and draw blood for genetic testing as needed.
• Maneuver the MRI equipment to capture the correct images and monitor patients during scanning.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and MRI equipment functions.
• Assist radiologists with MRI biopsies, localizations, and DynaCad system operations.
• Perform daily and weekly quality assurance checks on MRI equipment.
• Possess RT/MRI and IV certification.

Experience with breast MRI is a plus. Pay type is hourly.
