This is a challenging opportunity to join the Civilian Corps as a Clinical Psychiatric Nurse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with complex behavioral health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health nursing assessments and histories to develop individualized care plans.
- Identify patient problems, generate nursing diagnoses, and design plans of care to address their unique needs.
- Administer medications and develop innovative teaching programs to promote patient education and empowerment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the delivery of exceptional patient care.
- A graduate or higher level degree in nursing from an accredited professional nursing educational program.
- A current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- Pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) or equivalent.
