Dialysis Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Nurse to join our team at DHR Health. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dialysis unit.
Key Responsibilities:- Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for patients receiving chronic and acute hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis.
- Prime dialyzers and bloodlines, record patients' medical information and vital signs, and ready dialysis equipment.
- Oversee dialysis treatment from start to finish, cannulate accesses, and demonstrate ability to remove femoral sheaths and administer medications.
- Monitor patients and adjust specialized equipment, identify irregular dialysis reactions, and notify medical team members.
- Teach patients and significant others how to manage their illness, including post-treatment home care needs, diet and nutrition programs, and self-administration of medication.
- Minimum of one year dialysis nurse experience.
- Skill in establishing a balanced perspective on mission effectiveness and business results.
- Knowledge of State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations.
