Senior Transmission Planner

US Tech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Transmission Planner to join our team. As a key member of our Transmission Work Management team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating transmission work activities to ensure efficient and effective execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain work packages for transmission projects, including scope of work, estimated hours, and required resources.
• Collaborate with transmission crews, supervisors, and project managers to ensure accurate and timely completion of work packages.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines and budgets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including transmission crews, project managers, and external partners.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on transmission planning and coordination to support business strategy and objectives.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in transmission planning and coordination, with a focus on substation and line projects.
• Strong knowledge of transmission systems, including substation and line equipment, and transmission planning and coordination principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
