TLD America is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to support the accounting functions for our factories in Windsor, CT. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for hands-on participation in the month-end financial close, managing inventory transactions, Accounts Payable accrual reconciliations, and supplying the Executive Team with analysis used in decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordination of the daily cycle count process
  • Monthly sales margin reporting
  • Assist with creation of monthly financial statements
  • Perform detailed account reconciliations (i.e. Bank Reconciliations)
  • Be a key user in the ERP system (Infor LN)
  • Assist with semi-annual financial audits
  • Develop relationships with business units to expedite workflow and ensure appropriate accounting treatment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field of study required
  • 2 years experience in a similar position or as an accountant in an industrial division in the business-to-business sector
  • Experience with ERP systems (Infor LN a plus)
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Excel and Outlook
