Position Overview:
This full-time, on-site position requires candidates to assist in various assembly tasks, ensuring the efficient production of our high-quality transformers. The role involves collaboration with experienced assemblers and the operation of specialized equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Core Stacking and Completion:**
- Set up and maintain stacking tables, ensuring proper alignment and leveling.
- Conduct preventative installations of cores and apply epoxy as needed.
2. **Element Assembly:**
- Identify and land coils accurately.
- Attach leads and prepare cables to specified lengths.
- Utilize hydraulic crimpers and various hand tools effectively.
- Assist in inventory management and support tanking and final assembly processes.
- Operate man lifts and forklifts independently.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of six months of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment or relevant training.
- Familiarity with transformer and electrical concepts is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics and the ability to interpret blueprints.
- A commitment to safety practices and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Work Environment:
The role involves working in various environmental conditions, including heat and cold, and may require working at heights and in confined spaces. Candidates should be prepared for physical demands associated with the position.
