Bi-Lingual Paralegal

About the Role

The Curtis Law Firm PLLC is seeking a Bi-Lingual Paralegal - Litigation Support to join our team. In this role, you will assist attorneys with all aspects of complex family law cases, including preparation and drafting of legal documents, conducting legal research, and maintaining case files and document management systems.

You will work closely with our attorneys to ensure that all cases are handled efficiently and effectively, and that our clients receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Assisting attorneys with all aspects of complex family law cases;

- Preparing and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence;

- Conducting legal research and gathering relevant information for cases;

- Maintaining case files and document management systems;

- Transcribing dictations and preparing accurate summaries;

- Scheduling appointments, hearings, and meetings for attorneys;

- Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner;

- Managing calendars and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks;

- Performing administrative and clerical duties as needed.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 5 years recent experience as a paralegal, with a strong understanding of family law procedures and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

You should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, computer knowledge of software programs (Microsoft Office, Clio, CCEF, Math4Law or FamilyLaw, ECF/PACER), and superior writing skills.
