Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide medical care for skilled nursing residents in a Long-Term Care Facility / Nursing Home in Mercer. As a LPN, you will be responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and coordinate care delivery, ensuring that patients' needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate direct patient care within the scope of the Practical Nurse Act of Pennsylvania.
  • Effectively communicate with all members of the health care team.
  • Administer medications and injections, take vital signs, perform basic diagnostic tests, and dress wounds per the health care provider's orders.
  • Observe, evaluate, and report changes in patient symptoms, condition, and/or reactions to medications or treatments.
  • Assist and support staff by responding to patient call lights, answering telephones, passing meal trays, and transporting residents.
Requirements:
  • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License.
  • Valid CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Current TB Testing Documentation.
  • Current Physical Examination.
