Job Summary

Atrium Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Lead to join our team in the Cardiology Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing direct supervision, coaching, and mentoring to subordinate staff, as well as ensuring the smooth operation of the clinical unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and mentoring to subordinate staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines and departments to provide a continuum of care to patients.
  • Participate in daily rounds with the interdisciplinary team to plan for the next level of care.
  • Assist in financial planning and control, nursing standards, and quality assurance for assigned areas.
  • Responsible for human resource management on assigned shifts, including training and development activities.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience as a Clinical Nurse, with a preference for 2 years of experience and 6 months as a Charge Nurse.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think analytically and work independently and as part of a team.
