Role and Responsibilities:
As a Nuclear Medicine Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by administering radioactive substances. You will work under the guidance of a physician in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and imaging centers. Your duties will include:
- Assisting patients in understanding the procedures involved.
- Administering radioactive medications and ensuring patient safety.
- Operating diagnostic equipment and maintaining accurate records.
Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a relevant field.
- ARRT/NMTCB Certification.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- A current state license, if applicable.
