We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Bend Transitional Care. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and maintain established nursing practice objectives and standards
- Provide direct patient care to residents, including administering medications and reviewing medication cards for completeness and accuracy
- Coordinate with nursing staff and support personnel to plan shift services, programs, and activities to ensure the resident's total regimen of patient care is maintained
- Supervise the day-to-day nursing and caregiving activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Chart nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident and resident's response to care
- Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a RN or LPN in this state
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems
- Effective communication, organization, and prioritization skills
- Customer service skills/experience required
