About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineering leader to lead our newly formed Trader Experience team. As a key member of our technology organization, you'll play a critical role in shaping our client-centric web experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and manage a diverse team of Software Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence in execution
  • Assume an active role in the career development of direct reports, providing regular feedback and coaching
  • Engage in hands-on design and ensure alignment of strategy, architecture, tools/methods with software engineers and architects to execute product roadmaps
  • Oversee release processes and ensure smooth deployments, minimizing downtime and impact on users
  • Hire the best talent to help build and grow NinjaTrader's product engineering teams
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of engineering experience working in agile software engineering teams designing and building external client-facing software products in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic product development environment
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing product-focused engineering teams, ideally in a distributed setting
  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA
  • A strong frontend web engineering background with deep understanding of core front-end technologies and frameworks: HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, servers-side scripting, websockets, and cloud deployment pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical problems concisely to a non-technical audience
