Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Caton Hill Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computerized tomography examinations of patients as requested by referring physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, confirm image requirements, and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort and understanding.
  • Review patients' medical history and confirm consent forms prior to performing CT procedures.
  • Position patients on examination tables and monitor their condition during examinations.
  • Administer intravenous contrast material as directed by radiologists and control CT equipment to ensure high-quality images.
  • Maintain equipment and examination rooms, store films, and manage related supplies.
  • Prepare patient information files and submit reports showing examination details.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of experience as a CT Technologist or registry-eligible ARRT advanced certification in CT required.
  • Current Radiologic Technologist License (Virginia) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Computed Tomography within 12 months of hire required.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) and graduate of a certified/accredited ARRT program required.
  • Specialized training in computerized tomography and proficiency in applicable computer software required.
  • Ability to work effectively with patients, communicate pleasantly and effectively, and demonstrate good oral and written communication skills required.

Work Environment

This is a part-time position working 20 hours per week with a day shift schedule. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment and demonstrate a commitment to customer-focused service requirements.
