About the Role:Registered Nurses with experience in areas such as bariatric care, biPAP monitoring, COVID-19 management, CVA care, cardiac drip management, DKA patient care, high acuity patient care, post-cardiac intervention, or sheath pulls are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and other advanced nursing practices
This is a full-time opportunity offering competitive compensation ranging from $75,000 to $150,000 per year.
Duties and Responsibilities:The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with medium to high acuity needs. This includes:
- Closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips, and other key indicators
- Administering medications and implementing complex treatment plans
- Collaborating with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Educating patients and their families on managing acute or chronic conditions
- Maintaining timely and accurate patient records
