Summary:
This role is essential for conducting polysomnographic assessments, establishing testing and treatment protocols in collaboration with the attending Physician, Medical Director, and/or SDC guidelines. The incumbent will also oversee all technical responsibilities associated with the polysomnographic assessment and management of sleep disorders, ensuring the delivery of exceptional results and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluates patient testing options and treatment protocols, consulting with the referring Physician, Medical Director, or Clinical Director as necessary to achieve optimal polysomnographic outcomes.
- Assesses and manages sleep study-related equipment and inventory.
- Conducts routine and advanced maintenance, care, and repairs of equipment.
- Analyzes sleep/wake cycles and clinical occurrences by adhering to professionally recognized standards and SDC-specific protocols, producing precise reports.
- Exhibits proficiency in executing assigned tasks in a manner that addresses the age-specific and developmental requirements of the patients served by the department.
- Adjusts assessment, treatment, and/or service techniques to meet the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, age-specific, and other developmental needs of each patient.
- Undertakes additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- RPSGT certification from BRPT.
Employment Type:
Per Diem, as needed.
