Position Overview

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a Med Surg unit. The position requires a commitment to working nights, with a schedule of 7 PM to 7:30 AM, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

  • Current nursing license in Wisconsin
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical setting
  • Experience in short-term acute care hospitals is essential
  • Ability to interpret telemetry readings
  • Current BLS certification
  • NIHSS certification
  • Recent experience with Epic charting within the last year
  • Completion of at least one travel contract is preferred

Additional Information:

  • Flexibility to float to different units as needed
  • Scrub colors: Any
  • Unit Information: 2E MedSurg with 22 beds, patient ratio up to 1:6
  • Training for charge nurse responsibilities will be provided
  • Covid-19 vaccination is required unless exempt for medical or religious reasons
