Job Summary

We are seeking a Caregiver/Direct Support Professional to join our team at Sevita. As a Caregiver/Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene and meal preparation
  • Assist with developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Encourage participation in community activities and hobbies
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement individualized support plans

Requirements

  • No high school diploma required
  • No experience required
  • Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for day and evening shifts
  • Skills in communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management
  • Behaviors of patience, compassion, reliability, and responsibility
