About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate School Registered Nurses to join our team at Adecco US, Inc. in Rochester, NY. As a School Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to students aged 3-21 across three campuses.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care for students, including conducting health assessments, managing chronic conditions, and providing emergency care.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by the student's primary care physician and maintain accurate and current medication orders and parent permissions.
  • Record and process all student/staff injuries on the appropriate accident/incident form and instruct all staff in Health and Safety Procedures.
  • Carry out all procedures established in case of medical emergency and delegate the LPN in crisis situations.
  • Monitor the general health and safety standards used within the educational program and administer inoculations to staff and/or children as approved by the Medical Director.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in nursing and certification by NYS as a Registered Nurse.
  • At least 6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
