Join Lake Granbury Medical Center, a 73-bed facility providing complete medical care and advanced surgical procedures to Hood, Somervell, and Erath County residents. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and boast an accredited Chest Pain Center, Sleep Lab and radiology program.

We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse RN to work on our 12 bed unit. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of ICU experience and be certified as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement and document nursing care
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice
• Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Nursing
• Certified as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
• 1 year of ICU experience
• BLS and ACLS upon hire
• NIHS certification upon hire

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Working Hours:

• 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
• 6 weekend shifts in a 6 week timeframe is required
• Rotating holidays
