POSITION TITLE:

Associate Professor, Social Entrepreneurship

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing undergraduate courses in Social Entrepreneurship, emphasizing the practical application of business principles to address social, political, economic, and environmental challenges on local, national, and global scales. The curriculum will incorporate the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The typical teaching load is six courses annually, generally comprising three courses each semester. Potential courses include:

  • Ethical Sourcing, People, and the Planet
  • Social Entrepreneurship: Leading Change
  • Planning & Implementation for Social Entrepreneurship
  • Financing Social Entrepreneurship

Additional duties include curriculum development, participation in assurance of learning (AOL), academic advising, research, and service contributions. The candidate is expected to maintain an active research agenda and produce scholarly output.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Master's degree in Social Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship, or a closely related field is required, along with a minimum of nine months of experience teaching at the undergraduate level.
