Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our inpatient care team at ECHN. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating patients and developing personalized treatment plans to restore function and improve quality of life.



Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to establish measurable goals for each patient.
  • Treat patients with appropriate therapeutic exercises, physical agents, and manual techniques to relieve pain and achieve established goals.
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and functional activities to maximize independent activity.
  • Determine when patients have achieved maximal benefit from treatment and recommend discharge as necessary.
  • Document patient information accurately and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Personal computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel between multiple work sites and access reliable transportation.
