The Merchandise Associate plays a vital role in maintaining efficient store operations at Goodwill Northern New England. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will provide exceptional customer service while ensuring a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Sorts, inspects, and stocks donated goods to optimize their value and meet sales floor expectations

• Meets minimum Units Per Hour (UPH) and production effectiveness expectations, exercising due care in the performance of job tasks and adhering to Agency safety policies and procedures

• Represents Goodwill Northern New England in all interactions with the community and public, supporting our mission of creating sustainable communities through diverse resident participation

• Performs duties in accordance with Agency policies, federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and maintains accurate records of daily production

• Collaborates with supervisors to ensure individual production goals are met, and ensures compliance with Agency standard trainings

• Processes material at donation sites, prices merchandise using best practices, and stocks to sales floor plan

**Requirements**

• Displays a positive, friendly attitude to maintain a positive work environment

• Possesses mathematical and literacy skills to support job duties

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Meets Agency standards for a criminal background check

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Light manufacturing, processing, warehouse work experience or certification

• Prior thrift or used goods processing experience

• High school diploma, GED, HiSET, or equivalent
