Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop secure embedded software for a range of devices.
  • Identify potential security weaknesses in embedded systems and formulate countermeasures.
  • Conduct security evaluations and penetration testing on embedded systems.
  • Work in tandem with hardware engineers to ensure the security of embedded hardware components.
  • Establish and uphold secure coding standards for embedded software development.
  • Remain informed about the latest trends and advancements in embedded security.
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Facilitate security training and awareness initiatives for development teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Over 5 years of experience in embedded system development and security.
  • Deep understanding of embedded system architecture and design principles.
  • Experience with secure coding methodologies and vulnerability assessment.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and cryptographic techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++.
  • Experience with embedded software development tools and integrated development environments (IDEs).
  • Comprehension of hardware-software interfaces in embedded systems.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Able to work efficiently both in a team setting and independently.
