Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Audiologist to join our team. As a key member of our audiology department, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive hearing services to children of all ages.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct behavioral audiometry, auditory brainstem response, otoacoustic emissions, and infant newborn hearing screenings
- Evaluate and select hearing aids, FM systems, and other assistive listening devices
- Provide patient and caregiver education, as well as consultation to other professionals, clinics, and agencies
- Document and correspond with department and system policies
- Clinical Doctorate degree in Audiology or PhD in Audiology
- Pediatric experience preferred
- CPR certification
- State license for Audiology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in audiology (ASHA) or Board Certified in Audiology (ABA) or eligible to apply for either
