Cardiovascular Technologist Position in Norman Regional Health System

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing and assisting in cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and maintaining a sterile environment.
This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists in a state-of-the-art facility. Our Cardiology Department has received numerous accolades, including the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and experience working in a procedural area. A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program is required, with registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS being preferred.
This position comes with a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, depending on previous work experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support training and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
Estimated Salary: Based on previous work experience, the estimated salary for this position is between $27.84-$45.46 per hour.
